We are an innovative, ambitious, collaborative landscape construction company.  The Project Manager is a key member of the construction team.  He or she will be engaged from award bid through completion with all new construction contracts to ensure budget compliance, efficiency, and profitability.  Projects will consist of public works contracts and commercial contracts.

  • Focus:  Proactively manages multiple projects; increases revenue, leverages resources, and tracks expenses to ensure revenue, efficiency, and Gross Margin goals; demonstrates courtesy, efficiency, and professionalism.
  • Manages projects according to company procedures and values
  • Reviews all projects on consistent basis with Construction Manager to ensure profitability and compliance with plans and specifications
  • Approves and reviews reports for accuracy on a weekly basis; reviews work in progress for accuracy
  • Determines project issues on a consistent basis with the construction team
  • Selects and manages subcontractors; approves all subcontract billings and change orders; reviews and prepares claims (claims against bonding company if necessary)
  • Reviews and approves job book and subcontract agreements
  • Accountable for profit margin, project schedules, submittals, collections, change orders, and communication intemally and with clients
  • Assists construction team in removing roadblocks in successful completion of project (change order resolution, collections, claim resolutions)
  • Directs using wide gap principles of project planning to avoid bottlenecks; managing subcontractors and solving technical issues
  • Provides updates and reports as needed to other company executives
  • Ensures key performance indicators (gross profit, project budgets) are reported on time and to company standard
  • Selects, supervises, trains, disciplines, and evaluates employees; completes, and maintains all applicable reports and forms
  • Analyzes, negotiates, and/or approves all, subcontracts, change orders; conducts meetings, establishes business plans and performance objectives, and reports performance against plan and business objectives


Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office suite, and company software


Minimum of 5 years of professional experience involving project management, operational leadership, and strategic planning in the landscape construction industry.  A Bachelor's in related field is preferred.

Professional References and/or Recommendation Letters are required.  Clean DMV a must.
